The safety of all the pets in our care is our top priority, so there are some requirements that must be met prior to participating in daycare. Your puppy or dog may participate in daycare if they:
• Passed a FREE Meet & Greet evaluation
• Have been spayed or neutered (if older than 6 months)
• Are current on all vaccinations including Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella
• Are non-aggressive in nature
• Are not in heat
If your pet is six months or older and is not spayed or neutered yet, or is not up to date on their vaccinations, call our veterinary clinic to discuss setting up an appointment.
We take the safety of the pets in our care very seriously, so each dog must first complete a Free Meet & Greet to ensure that they are a good fit for Daycare. Book your dog's Meet & Greet today for a FREE trial day of Daycare!
BrownDog Lodge reserves the right in its sole discretion to decline services for aggressive dogs and/or dogs appearing to be in poor health or physical condition.
For your peace of mind (and entertainment), we provide webcam access of our play areas at both our Germantown lodge and East Memphis lodge. Watch your fur baby frolic the day away and relax knowing they are happy and safe.
We provide webcam access from 9am - 6pm to all of our clients. Check in on your happy pets!
Proper socialization with other dogs and other humans is critical to having a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted pet. With so many people returning to work after having been home for so long, your furry family member may now be home alone for long periods of the day for the first time in a while. The stress of solitude may cause nervous behaviors such as destructive chewing, persistent digging, excessive barking, or other signs of separation anxiety. Pets may also show signs of stress such as drooling, attempts to escape, and pacing.
If your pet is suffering from separation anxiety or simply the boredom of home isolation after many months of company, bring them to daycare with us. Daycare provides your loved one with the pack environment they are accustomed to and creates a trusted second home while you are away.
Daycare also sets your pup up for social success. They become more confident and less afraid, which they carry everywhere they go. They become more comfortable with unfamiliar people and situations like at the vet, groomer, on walks, or anywhere they encounter a stranger.
Bringing your pup to daycare with us provides all the physical, mental, and social exercise your dog needs. Give us a call to learn more about the many socialization benefits of daycare.
Routine rest time during daycare is not only important to the health of your pet, but also for the safety of the entire pack. Resting refers to the downtime in between playtimes during daycare. This gives your pet a chance to recuperate so they do not exhaust themselves before their visit comes to an end, which is especially important for our full day guests. Additionally, resting significantly decreases the chances of injuries within the pack. Just like with humans, rest allows for both mental and physical recovery, for their overall health and wellbeing.

My poochies seemed very happy while they were there and when I picked them up. I like that I can check in on them with the camera and I was even sent a cute pic of one of my dogs while I was away. My dogs will be staying again soon.
We would be happy to answer all of your questions.
